Case Study: Sarbanes/Oxley Financial and Manufacturing Control System Review:
Concerned about implications of Sarbanes/Oxley a $100M telecommunications company hired Riverpark consultant to review and recommend changes to the manufacturing and financial controls. A complete review was conducted of both manual and automated systems. Improved controls were recommended and, with the help of the consultant, were implemented and documented.
At quarter-end, the consultant was re-engaged and performed an audit in conjunction with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements to confirm that the procedures were being followed and the recommended improvements had been continued.
